In the province of Rovigo, in a breeding farm they use well water to water animals; however, water has some bacterial charge that the owner wants to eliminate or at least reduce without using chemicals.
The plant is equipped with a treatment system that uses chlorine to break down bacteria, a traditional sand filtration system to remove suspended bodies and then a charcoal filter to remove chlorine residues.
However, this can not guarantee the result as if it is true that chlorine eliminates many bacteria that the sand filter can retain impurities and the carbon filter eliminates residual chlorine, on the other hand each filter is a receptacle of bacteria that are not completely eliminated and thus have the potential to proliferate.
The unit was then mounted on the tube out of the well upstream of a water tap but downstream of the entire treatment system, leaving it off.
So they made arrangements with the analysis lab that also provided the two containers properly treated to hold the samples of water to be analyzed and using a thermal transport bag we prepared to make the withdrawal.
